Almond pulp is the perfect base for a nice face scrub. It's not too rough, not too soft.. it's just right. You can make the scrub a bit rougher by leaving the pulp chunkier.. add some sugar, salt and/or honey and you've got a homemade scrub that will leave your skin smooth and glowy! Leave it on for a while as a mask and let the nutrients soak into your skin, or simply use it as an exfoliator every couple days until it's gone. Remember, it is fresh so it won't last as long as those products with preservatives. Add some essential oils and coconut or almond oil to make a luxurious body scrub! Homemade skin care products are better for the environment, your wallet, are healthier for you and your body, and make great gifts!
You can also make more snacky-type dishes with the pulp such as hummus, "breaded" veggies/meat/vegan meat, and energy balls! What are some of your favorite ways to use your leftover almond pulp?
